Education
Paradigm
In the summer of 2014, NOAH launched Paradigm, a pre-professional and professional weeklong workshops series offered throughout Los Angeles. Classes include Dance, Photography, Dance Film, Injury Prevention, and Arts Management with working artists in the field. During Paradigm, NOAH invites artists from world-renowned dance companies such as Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Batsheva Dance Company, Bill T. Jones, Netherlands Dance Theater, The Forsythe Company, Kidd Pivot, and Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet to work with dancers in an intimate studio setting. Paradigm activities also include post-class discussions with current artists as well as repertory classes where invited guests share work from renowned companies. The intimate nature of Paradigm helps students create a better perspective on the many trajectories of a working artist as well as form relationships with other dancers in Los Angeles and the dance community at large. Paradigm ends with an informal public showing and often Paradigm participants are asked to collaborate with NOAH.
